Activites

LIBRARY

Students and teachers are expected to use the school library regularly. Books shall be kept neatly. Avoid marking, underlining or defacing the books. Students are permitted to borrow only one book at a time and should retain it only for a period of one week (Seven Days). The Librarian may call for the return of a particular book even before the expiry of the due date. Reference books and periodicals should not be taken out of the reading room. A borrower who does not return a book by the due date will be allowed a grace period of three days. If he fails to return the book even after the grace period he/she will be liable of paying a fine of Rs.5/- per day till the day the book is returned. Borrower should report any damage, losses of pages, pictures etc. to the librarian before they accept the books. Books borrowed are non- transferable. It is the responsibility of the the borrowers to take care of the books borrowed by them. If any book is lost, damaged or badly handled 150 % of the actual cost, for the replacement of the book will have to be paid by the borrower. Every book borrowed should be returned by the end of the month February every year. 150% of cost for the replacement of the book will be levied from defaulters. The decision of the Principal in this regard shall be final. Strict silence should be maintained inside the library.

SCIENCE LAB

The school has three well – equipped science laboratories Physics, Chemistry and Biology. All the labs are built with safety features. Each lab is fully equipped as per the syllabus requirement and can accommodate 40 students at a time.

COMPUTER LAB

We have a well equipped Computer lab. There are more than 20 computers in our lab. The upgradation of the Computer Lab is in full swing.

LANGUAGE LAB

The school has a well equipped Language Lab room with Computer, L.C.D, projector and audio systems.

SMART CLASS ROOM

The school has Smart Class rooms as per the syllabus requirements.

COUNSELLING CENTRE

The Counseling Centre helps the children in the holistic development of their personality by imparting right values and attitudes towards oneself and to the society at large. It also helps the students who are disturbed psychologically, socially, emotionally or situationally. The centre provides systematic ways of helping the students to learn personality adjustments. The counseling centre offers remedial systems for students where inadequate motivational factors have kept them from achieving their potential. The Counselor is available in the school from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm. CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The school has introduced various co-curricular activities for the emotional, physical and inter personal growth of the students. All the students are advised to take part in these co-curricular activities. Students are given training in music, painting and other art forms. Participation in one of the co-curricular activities will be graded and the marks will be entered in the certificates.

The students are divided into four houses and with the help of their teachers they will organize events.

KARATE & YOGA

Students who are interested in Karate and Yoga are given special coaching and instructions so as to cultivate a generation with strong minds and create self-control in their life.

 DANCE

Dance is a performance of art form consisting of purposefully selected sequence of various movements. It is also a mode of exercise. To emphasize this we have introduced dance classes with marginal fee.

HAND WRITING LAB

The school has been certified to conduct handwriting lab for all students with the cooperation of Mastermind Veda Education. Through this program writing becomes an art rather than a tedious exercise
